All Canadian based businesses have some tax and reporting obligations based on their employment activities, annual revenue and collection of GST and PST. Tax Reporting And Filing

It is a requirement for most Canadian based companies with revenue greater than $30,000 to register, collect, and remit GST to the Canada Revenue Agency and PST to Revenu Quebec on a periodic basis. We assist our clients with this process to ensure amounts are submitted on time and to the appropriate government agency.

It is a requirement for a Canadian business to remit a T4 slip and T4 summary if they paid employees employment income, commissions, taxable allowances and benefits, or any other remuneration. Our team will reconcile your annual payroll remittances and calculate any discrepancy in remittances for the year based on statutory obligations, while at the same time preparing T4’s for employees and electronically filing such T4’s with the Canadian Revenue Agency. The same applies to Releve 1 slips and a Releve 1 summary to Revenu Quebec.
